Dual Immersion Program

The Grant Spanish/English Dual Immersion program includes native English-speaking students and native Spanish-speaking students.  The goal of our Dual Immersion program is to develop bilingualism, academic achievement, and cross-cultural competencies for all students.  In our Dual Immersion program, students learn content through both their native language and the target language.

They spend half of their day learning with an English-speaking teacher and half of their day with a Spanish-speaking teacher.  Students continue in a Dual Immersion classroom through their 4th-grade year.  Research indicates that all students in the program will be proficient in English, proficient in Spanish, and at or above grade level academic benchmarks at the end of 4 grade.  Check out the links below to find out more about Grant's Dual Immersion program.
